I am the founder of Global Girlfriend, author of Global Girlfriends and social impact business consultant to fair trade companies, social enterprises, artisan businesses, nonprofits, corporations and social entrepreneurs like you. (Click here for my bio.)

But before I was any of these things I was a social worker and a mom who saw a problem and wanted to fix it. 70% of the worlds poorest people, those living on less than $1 a day, were women. I wanted to change that. I started my company with a $2,000 tax refund, a few connections to artisans, a lot of supportive friends, and a deep drive to make a difference for women living in poverty.

Fifteen years later my company has sold millions of dollars in fairly traded products, impacting the lives  of thousands of women and their families. 

I had to stumble through, make big mistakes to learn what I didn't know, and struggle without any road map.  But you don't have to because I want to help you build your profitable social justice business, and learn what you need to know from an experienced guide.
